Recommended Applications for White Canvas Tarps

These breathable white canvas tarps are ideal for painting jobs. From big jobs for businesses to small ones in residential areas, Tarps Plus has the size you need. Use these as drop cloths to keep your floor, furniture and other items protected from paint splatters.

With breathability, rot, mildew and mold will not form on the items covered by these white canvas tarps. White canvas tarps can also be used as protection from dirt. They're not dyed so they can be used for covering various items as opposed to the others which have colors that bleed. These are, however, not recommended for covering vehicles and boats because the water resistant wax might wear off from the tarp.

White canvas tarps are not meant for use as canopy accessories. With the smell coming from the wax, we also do not recommend these for indoor use. Do not use them as room dividers.

Qualities of White Canvas Tarps

White canvas tarps have different applications as opposed to poly tarps. While they are heavier, thicker and longer lasting (as long as you maintain them properly), these tarps are not completely resistant to some agents.

These tarps are water repellent and can only hold up to a certain amount of water. When they reach their saturation point, the water will begin to leak. Do not use these under rainy conditions for long hours because your property will eventually get wet. Use them temporarily until you get covers that provide full water protection.

Also found along the sides are grommets. You can insert ropes or elastic cords through these rings to secure the tarp in place.

You need to use a special kind of soap or detergent to clean these white canvas tarps. Machine wash is not recommended. This cleaning method will wear off the water resistant wax treated on the tarp.
