The canopy brace helps secure the canopy at the frame to keep it more sturdy. Each brace provides a strong canopy frame protection. You can use one brace on each end of the canopy under the "A" to secure the frame and keep it more rigid. In very windy areas, a brace can be added at the points where two poles connect. Each canopy brace is sold separately.
