Fire Retardant Tarp Installed
I installed this tarp yesterday afternoon, covering a damaged skylight in an exposed location at an angle of about 45 degrees with the horizontal. I had to first tie ropes to the appropriate grommets and then throw the tarp over the skylight, standing at a safe location about 3 feet above it. The effort was finally a success, but it didn't work on the first try. This tarp as thicker and stiffer than many that I have used. This is a sign of higher quality. But, in my case, the tarp was so stiff, it was hard to get it to lie flat when I threw it over the skylight. (Ambient temperature was about 55 degrees F.) This is the only complaint I can think of about the tarp. Of course, I will have to wait a couple of years to see if the tarp really holds up to sun, rain, and wind. But, this looks like a good one to me.
