170x170 Baseball Field Covers For Your Home Field

The standards for baseball field covers are very high and manufacturers use only the highest quality polyethylene possible. Tarps are heat sealed and they have a hem that surrounds the entire perimeter. The 170x170 baseball field cover material comes in approx. 5.5 ounces ounce coated polyethylene.

This covering comes with sandbags and handles. The covers are standard size to cover sports grounds that are 167 feet by 167 feet. There are also covers available for other sports such as soccer, softball, athletics and the like. The athletic tarp variety are available in vinyl reinforced polyester/nylon or heavy duty polyethylene. There are optional hand holds to make transporting the covering easier. They are ideal to cover the entire ground or only part of the field as required.

Rain and mud are not good for the ground, and this is where the tarps are really handy. They are durable and able to keep the water away from the playing surface. If the covering is for a school ground, it may even be possible to have the cover in the school colors.

Storage tarps are available to look after the covering. These baseball field tarps are normally available in three different sizes. There are also a range of colors available.

While it is important to look after the ground, some of the equipment is also important. You are able to order mound and plate tarps and they are durable and last for a long time. Each cover is made with brass grommets and a heat welded perimeter. They are available in packages or individually.

To be able to use the baseball field covers more easily, it is really a good idea to buy tarp clips for handles. They make the task of deploying the covering much easier. The tarp is also less likely to become damaged when using tarp cover handles than without them. These are super heavy duty field covers.

Large tarp orders like these ship within 3 to 4 business working days. This means, the order leaves our warehouse within 3 to 4 business after the order was placed. All ground orders usually take the following amount of time after they have been shipped:

West Coast = approx. 1 to 2 business working days
Mid West = approx. 3 to 4 business working days
East Coast = approx. 4 to 5 business working days

Ground shipments can take up to 7 to 15 business working days to arrive but this is highly unlikely. Keep in mind that the 170'x170' tarps ship on pallets so make sure you have a dolly or help for carrying the tarp.
