These light duty tarps are more economical but that does not mean they are weak and won't do the job.  Light duty tarps are ideal when you need something light, easy and on the go.  These tarps are made out of a tight woven polyethylene and although not as tough against harsh conditions like our heavier duty tarps are, they make a great temporary solution at a lower cost for applications like emergency roof coverage after a storm or temporary coverage for camping or hunting.

Some Uses Include temporary car, boat, truck, and RV coverage, makeshift shelters, keeping firewood dry, and providing temporary shade.  The uses for a light duty tarp are nearly endless and is always a great idea to keep one on hand, whether at home or on the go.

Tarpaulin finished size is approx. 6" or up to 3% smaller

The thickness of our tarps is measured in mil. One mil is equal to a thousandth of an inch. Get the measurement in inches by dividing the mil by 1000. Let's take the mil of our blue poly tarps as an example: 6 mil/1000 = .006 inch.
Denier (or den) is the unit used in measuring the linear mass density of fibers. It is the mass in grams per 9 thousand meters.

Get the blue tarps from Tarps Plus annually and these blue tarps seem to last a little longer than other blue tarps from other places. The service is good and they ship fast. So 5 stars for that.
