The red 18 oz vinyl polyester coated tarps are flame retardant, waterproof, and tear resistant. These red vinyl polyester coated tarps are great for gym floor covers, vinyl decor, paint booth curtains, floor coverings, athletic covers and fire department salvage tarp covers. Note: Our red vinyl tarps are custom made tarps. The vinyl tarps are hand sewn here in the United States. It takes approximately 7-10 business days to make your tarp before it is shipped to you. Protect Yourself With Some Custom Made Red Flame Retardant Vinyl Tarps Tarps, or Tarpaulins, have been used over the ages for a variety of purposes. From being used as camping equipment to being used as drop sheets for painting, tarpaulins have slowly crept into our daily lives. With vinyl tarps becoming so widely used, it is but natural that they will come with more and more safety features. Red flame retardant vinyl tarps are a classic example. Apart from being waterproof and tear resistant, unlike their canvas counterparts, these tarpaulins are specially designed to be heat resistant as well. These are made of extremely heavy duty fabric which has been purposely crafted from CFM approved 18 oz vinyl coated polyester to be heat resistant and meet MIL Spec C - 43 006 B. Even the edges are heat sealed and have rust-resistant grommets fitted at a distance of every 2 feet on all sides. Due to the superior strength of the vinyl fabric being utilized, these tarp sheets last much longer and provide more wear and tear than regular polyester sheets. So, even though these were primarily used by the police and the fire department, they can now be utilized as gym floor covers, paint booth curtains, floor covers for child's play areas and other work areas. The flame retardant vinyl tarps are available in a range of colors to compliment your interiors, such as black, blue, gray, green, red, tan, yellow and white. These tarps are great for using outdoors as well as indoors since they are durable and don't fray easily. Along with having inbuilt resistance to high temperatures when exposed to the sun, these are also great for using in cold and otherwise wet climates.
