Motorcycle Cover Options And Info
There are many things that will work as a usable motorcycle cover, especially if you store your bike inside, out of the weather. There's no question that motorcycles stored in a garage or other indoor storage space will look better than those stored outside, even with some type of cover being used.
If your bike's kept in a garage and all you're concerned about is keeping it from getting too dusty maybe all you need is an old blanket or canvas tarp for protection. Chances are good you might already have one of these lying around the house. It might not be pretty, but it will probably do the job okay.
Of course, with motorcycle covers being so readily available and so inexpensive to buy you may want to get one of these instead. If your two-wheeler is parked outside, even if it's under a carport, it's a good idea to have something specifically designed to keep it protected from the elements. At the low end, these covers go for as little as about twenty bucks. At the high end, for an all-enclosed set-up including a weather-resistant floor, you can spend $300 or more.
If you're riding a Harley worth thirty grand, spending three hundred on a really nice protective cover may seem like nothing. It will certainly keep your bike looking like new longer. But you can get also get a good, all-weather protective cover for one-third that price. The choice is yours.
If you transport your bike in the back of a pick-up truck regularly a motorcycle cover is a very good idea. There are special tarp covers available for dirt bikes that can be put on even after the bike is tied down and that contain special slots so that fuel can be added even when the machine is already covered. There is a nearly unlimited variation of covers available for almost any bike.

Tarp orders like these ship within 1 to 2 business working days. This means, the order leaves our warehouse within 1 to 2 business after the order was placed. All ground orders usually take the following amount of time after they have been shipped:
West Coast = approx. 1 to 2 business working days
Mid West = approx. 3 to 4 business working days
East Coast = approx. 4 to 5 business working days
Ground shipments can take up to 7 to 15 business working days to arrive but this is highly unlikely.
