Tarps Plus is currently overstocked with large white canvas tarps and tarp tents. So they decided to donate the tarps and tents in a unique way. The tarps for kids program will consist of the company taking a 30 x 30 white canvas tarp and a white instant pop-up tent to schools in the antelope Valley area. The 30x30 white canvas tarp is laid on the ground and the white pop-up tent is placed on top of it. Teachers put their hand prints on the top part of the tent. The tent is then removed and free-form painting by the children and teachers are painted onto the 30 x 30 white canvas tarp. At the end of the day, the tarp and tent are donated to the school. Schools use the pop-up tent for functions and assemblies. The tarp is used for assemblies as well is being set up as a piece of art. Both pieces serve as whether protection and a piece of art that symbolizes the connection of students and teachers.

Our memorial day sale was a huge success thanks to all the great Tarps Plus customers and employees. We discounted our over stocked tarp supply and gave away some used tarps as well. We are planning a 4th of July sale and plan to have similar specials. The sale will start one week before the holiday.
Send some videos of tarps being used in a unique way and get a chance to win our monthly sales contest. The first video will be chosen the day after 4th of July. |

Every year we give out thousands of tarps to the homeless during Thanksgiving time and set out to give a little more each year. We have just confirmed tarp drives in several cities across America. Last year we celebrated Thanksgiving with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at the L.A. Mission. We gave out over 2000 tarps to people who are living on the streets. The tarps are essential during the cold and rainy month and help to prevent hypothermia. We have just confirmed that we will be at the Mission again this year to celebrate the 2012 Thanksgiving holiday and help the needy at the same time. Tarps Plus we also being giving out tarps in New York, Washington D.C. and Chicago.
Tarps are not the only supplies that are needed. We would love to have other companies and contributors join us. If you would like to be a part of of the Tarps Plus annual holiday tarps drive, please call at at: 1-800-838-3057. |

In efforts to show our customers new ways to use tarps and share more about us, we have made a new promo video. The video was made by our very CEO Michael Stein. Before Michael Started Tarps Plus he was a film maker, so he had an advantage in making the minute and half video.
The video is first of many that will be featured on our "How To" page. The page will cover all types of uses for tarps in addition to videos of people using tarps in unique ways. The video can be viewed at the bottom of our home page. If you have an exciting way that you use tarps, submit us your video and we will post it up and share it. |
